Amacker’s Announcements Sept. 5 - Sept. 8 Science: Energy Understanding various sources of energy used for human needs Comparing Energy and Pollution Output We will read additional nonfiction text that correlate with our study of energy as well as pollution Social Studies: My Place in the Universe Math: Place Value Solve additive compare word problems modeled with tape diagrams. Solve multi-step word problems and assess the reasonableness of answers using rounding. Create and solve multi-step word problems from given tape diagrams and equations. MODULE 1 UNIT TEST WILL BE NEXT TUESDAY Subtraction Fact Quiz Friday, Sept. 8 Quick Check Friday, Sept. 8 (lessons 11-12 ) Feel free to e-mail me mlamacker@madison-schools.com Reminders: Supply Fee $40 Record minutes in your reading log.
