Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) Access for the Federal Workforce by The National Guard Bureau (NGB) as of 1 February 2016 The eOPF is a file containing Federal employees civilian personnel records throughout their career
eOPF There are three things needed to access the eOPF: 1. The website address – https://eopf.opm.gov/nationalguard/ NOTE: The eOPF system is a secured environment and will require “https” at the beginning of the Uniform Resource Locator (URL). eOPF can only be accessed from a .mil network. Access to the eOPF is not Common Access Card enabled (CAC), therefore, all emplyees will need to retrieve their eOPF ID and password on the eOPF login page.
eOPF 2. Valid enterprise email address entered in employee’s MyBIZ+ Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) account. The email address flows from DCPDS to eOPF. Email addresses cannot be updated in eOPF. 3. Employee will be required to retrieve a new password by clicking on the “Request a New Password” link on the eOPF login page. The reset link that is received, opens and prompts employee to enter their eOPF ID and token. Once submitted, employee will create a new password that adhere to eOPF password requirements.
eOPF Upon submission of your eOPF ID and New Password request, technician will receive two (2) separate emails within 45 minutes that will contain the following: 1. eOPF Login ID 2. Temporary Password Employee must check the spam or junk email folder if do not see the email within 60 minutes. If that email is not received, please contact the eOPF helpdesk at eopf_hd@telesishq.com for assistance. Use "Missing eOPF ID eMail" or “Missing eOPF Password” in the subject and include agency (National Guard), full name, email address and phone number in the body of the request. DO NOT INCLUDE SSN in any correspondence with the helpdesk.
eOPF When initially login to eOPF, there are several administrative task that need to take care of. This is a one-time update that will only take a few minutes to complete. a. Select and answer six security questions. b. Read and accept the Rules of Behavior. The screen will refresh and take employee to the eOPF Welcome page.
