Reducing early school leaving: examples of approaches for Roma I would first give an overview of the strategic measures and prevention/intervention/compensation, as well as of the whole school approach. I could mention examples of good practice in inclusive classroom approaches and different types of learner support that can prevent grade repetition. At the end, I would show the tools that we have (also in Spanish), from the Toolkit for Schools to the structural indicators for inclusive education (attached). What works. SEAs derive from a rigorous analysis of educational systems, theories and practices. Particularly, from 27 case studies across schools serving families from low SES where children achieve excellent results. European Toolkit for Schools for: - school heads - teachers - policy makers - anybody working with schools The Toolkit aims at supporting school heads, teachers and other professionals and partners working with schools, in identifying the needs and gaps in prevention of early school leaving and in finding suitable solutions. It includes helpful information, examples of measures and resource material to inspire their efforts in providing effective and high-quality education. The aim of the Toolkit is also to support the exchange and experience among school practitioners and policy makers.
