Presentation transcript:

Lesson Six: The Chart Summary Tab In the Chart Summary Tab, significant patient information is pulled together from different parts of a patient’s chart. Important information is combined in one view for easy access and review.

Chart Summary Tab The Chart Summary tab is a convenient view of different aspects of patient information displayed in one window. Its primary purpose is to encapsulate information for a quick summary. This view consists of multiple panes, each displaying an aspect of the chart such as Problems/Diagnosis, Height & Weight, Critical Labs and Continuous Infusions.

Lesson Six Review In this lesson you learned that the Chart Summary tab contains information from several parts of the patient’s chart. Significant information such as allergies, height/weight and reason for visit can be viewed at one time from the Chart Summary tab.
