Come Dine With Dads Cheetham’s Sunshine Bars SKILLS: Weighing Mixing Dry INGREDIENTS: 100g raisins 100g Porridge oats 50g Rice Krispies 40g Dessicated coconut 40g Sunflower or pumpkin seeds To put in the Pan: 100g Light muscovado sugar 120ml Honey or Golden syrup 100g Butter, cut into pieces 1. Carefully weigh the raisins, oats, rice krispies, coconut and seeds. 2. Put the sugar, syrup and butter in a small pan and heat gently, stirring with a wooden spoon until melted, then simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thicker and syrupy. 3. Quickly stir the syrup into the dry ingredients, mixing well until there are no dry patches. 4. Line a 25x25cm baking dish with baking paper or foil. 3. Tip the mixture into a tin and press down with the back of a spoon to even out the surface. 4. Leave to cool and set in the fridge – about 2 hours.
