Collecting Day 3 Interviewing Others Writers conduct research for their memoirs by interviewing family members & friends. YOUR JOB TODAY: You will think about the kinds of questions you need to generate in order to interview family members or friends for collecting more relevant info for you memoir.

Collecting Day 3 Interviewing Others INFORM: When writers begin writing any piece they start with research. Memoirs = interview research Interviewing people who were present at the event. While the author may have been present other people may bring in new details and insights. **very important if you are writing a memoir on someone else’s memory.**

Collecting Day 3 Interviewing Others Present: WE are going to take another look at Erika’s story to analyze the types of questions she may have asked in order to be able to relate her tale to Ruth Vander Zee. Open Notebook and label it “Erika’s Questions” While I reread, Jot down ideas for questions that she may have posed to others in order to learn more about what happened to her.
