Predator / Prey Relationships

The population of all organisms is constant. Healthy Ecosystem The population of all organisms is constant.

Grass is Diseased Grass population decreases rabbit population begins to decrease. Next, the snake population decreases Lastly the hawk population decreases After the initial drop off, the populations begins to stabilize.

Rabbits are Diseased Rabbit population decreases grass population increases The snake and hawk population decrease After 8 months, the populations stabilize (the grass stays higher than the rest)

Snakes are Diseased Snake population decreases rabbit population increases The hawk population decreases The grass population decreases slower than the other two.

Hawks are Diseased Hawk population decreases snake population increases. Increase in snakes rabbit population decreases rabbit population decreases grass population increases All populations stabilize. The hawk and grass population stay lower than the snake and rabbit population

Predator/Prey Storyboard You will DO: Identify the four most important things that happen during a predator/prey relationship Create a four panel storyboard that includes pictures and descriptions to tell the story of a predator/prey relationship

DUE DATE You will have class time today and time tomorrow to work on your storyboard The final storyboard is due this FRIDAY MAY 6th.
