We need a paradigm shift……. Engineered housing 1 Million Government target of one million new homes by the end of 2020. 300,000 New homes needed pa 179,432 Average no. of new homes completed each year 1990-2016 Serious labour and skill shortages Up to 30% quicker to build (UK Government, 2017; McKinsey, 2014) Greener: 34% less CO2 (Monahan and Powell, 2010) Higher quality Tried and tested internationally Responds to skills shortages
