Class Rules Arrive to class ON TIME and with ALL your materials! Respect Seating Plan! Bathroom breaks will be scarce!!! Respect your teacher and classmates ABSOLUTELY NO EATING IN CLASS!!

Cell Phone and Technology Cell Phone is Not to be seen or heard LEAVE IT IN YOUR LOCKER!!!! During Evaluations (NO EXCEPTIONS-LEAVE IT IN YOUR LOCKER or get a ZERO!!!!)

Class Schedule Come in and pick up worksheets/notes at front of class Hand in assignments/homework Sit quietly and get ready to work Notes Worksheets (finish for homework if necessary) Assign Homework (most of the time you will have time to finish in class) Tests, quizzes and labs!!!!

During all labs work quietly and carefully to ensure maximum safety. Safety Rules in the Lab

Before the Lab Clear all surfaces and keep work area clean Read/Listen to instructions very carefully before you start. Plan your procedure before you begin Know the hazards before you begin

Protect Yourself Tie up your hair Wear safety glasses and keep them on for the duration of the lab Do not wear loose clothing, neck ties, jewelry, scarves, or open shoes. Locate the exit, fire blanket, extinguisher, emergency shower and eye wash station. Never run or yell in the lab. Clean up any spills immediately and report to teacher . Do not eat or drink in the lab Do not taste, smell, or touch any chemicals Do not sit during a lab. Wash your hands after all labs

Use equipment with care Use great caution with sharp and pointed instruments Pull plugs, not cords, when disconnecting electrical equipment. Always unplug equipment at the end of a lab. Make sure all glassware is clean BEFORE and AFTER using Notify teacher or lab tech of any Broken Glass or Equipment immediately. Never pour harmful substances down the sink.
