Background ANSI has historically contributed to the Global Standards Collaboration initiative and appreciates being an invited Observer Two ANSI-accredited SDOs that regularly participate in the GSC are the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (“ATIS”) and the Telecommunications Industry Association (“TIA”) Other ANSI-accredited SDOs have also been here as Observers, e.g., IEEE, CEA, SCTE. ANSI Administers a Policy Committee, the ANSI Intellectual Property Rights Policy Committee (“ANSI IPRPC”), that formulates ANSI’s positions on intellectual property issues in domestic, regional, and international policy areas.
