What is the American Revolutionary War? The American Revolutionary War was fought 200 years ago. It was between the thirteen colonies in the Northern part of America and the British Empire. One thing that caused the American Revolutionary war was the Boston Tea Party. The king of England started making people pay taxes for the goods that they get like tea.

How did the American Revolutionary War affect New York today? The American Revolutionary War impacted New York today because if nobody fought for our freedom we would not be free. We would have to think like other people. We would not be who we want to be. Most of the people would still be slaves. :// http en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Revolutionary_War
