Presentation transcript:

Before the bell… Please put your phones in the pocket folder. If you’re caught with a phone, you will lose points for today. Be ready to read when the bell rings. If you forgot a book, get one from the shelf and be in your seat by the time the bell rings.

Today’s Agenda Silent Reading for 45 minutes Finish second blog entry Create an account on turnitin.com & submit your 2nd entry Work on 3rd entry- it will be due Friday on turnitin.com (Yes, I know we don’t have class Friday, it’s homework)

Silent Reading – 45 Minutes Please read silently. You will be getting a participation quiz grade for coming to class prepared with your book, reading silently for the allotted time and working on your blog entries. Each class day is worth 8 points. If you are not reading, cause disruptions, sleep or are in any way off task, you will lose points. Also, I am keeping track in a spreadsheet and, most likely, I won’t even bother to confront you so that the rest of the class is not bothered. You will just lose the points and I will document why with the time and date.
