UNICEF Crisis Response Every year, UNICEF responds to over 250 emergencies, offering food, water, shelter, protection, and health care whenever a crisis arises UNICEF humanitarian efforts also give contributions to address underlying causes of vulnerability to disasters and conflict

UNICEF Action Plan UNICEF employs over 11,000 staff worldwide at 350 warehouses globally with strategic transit hubs that stand ready to provide both immediate/long-term necessities — food, water, shelter, protection and physical as well as mental health care. UNICEF also works to reunite children with family and provides care for those who are orphaned. UNICEF is a global leader in emergency response, last year reaching children in 344 humanitarian emergencies across 108 countries.
