Examination Value As shown on the syllabus, the examination is worth 20% of your total grade
What You Need to Bring Photo ID Z number
Arrive on Time! Students arriving late will not be given extra time The exam period is 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Students arriving after the first person has left the room will: Need to show an extraordinary reason why they were late If the excuse is accepted, students will be given an essay makeup exam
Filling Out the Exam Print your name Print your Z number No other information is needed
Exam Paper Write your answers on the exam Please be sure all answers are legible
During Test No talking to other students No notes of any kind Cell phones, lap top computers, or any other electronic devices should be turned off, and they should be put away during the exam Questions should be directed to the Instructor or to a Graduate Teaching Assistant
When You Finish Check over your answer sheet Be sure your answers are legible Be sure you answered every question – there is no additional penalty for wrong answers Are your name and number on the sheet?
Turn in Your Exam Bring your EXAM and your PHOTO ID to the GTA The GTA will verify the ID matches and will then take your Exam When the exam is finished, approximately 11:30 a.m., lecture will start
Exam Grades Exams will be returned in class the following Monday The exam key will be posted after the exam and lecture If you do not come to class, you will need to see the instructor to pick up your exam – they will not be returned in lab
