The Situation: A customer want to come to our facility and do a Kaizen event(???) on a part we make for them. (We knew little about lean manufacturing concepts) B D Become better using-TOC, TQM, Zapp!, ISO Use only current programs A Provide better cost, quality and delivery for our customers C D’ Learn new methodologies for improvement Add new programs We can’t do D & D’ Press page down for assumptions & injection

Injection: Be open to new ideas. Our greatest threat is complacency and thinking we “know it all” What are some assumptions? Possible injections A-B Current programs are sufficient B-D Can only focus on current programs A-C New methods will provide additional benefits C-D Have to add new programs to get the benefits Enhanced current programs with new methods Use TOC to guide adoption of new program methods TOC and new methods will provide the most benefits Add only specific aspects (tools) of the new programs Repeat pressing page down End of slideshow
