(A) Sagittal T2-weighted image through the midportion of the uterus demonstrates thickening of the JZ (black area) posterior to the hyperintense normal appearing endometrium. JZ thickening (white arrow) predominates in the posterior myometrium, suggesting asymmetric adenomyosis. (B) Coronal T2-weighted image through the endometrial cavity demonstrates multiple white dots corresponding to subendometrial cysts that can be seen in the upper and right myometrial wall.
