How are you are assessed by the examiner…

AO1 AO2 AO3 AO4 AO5 Articulate informed, personal and creative responses to literary texts using associated concepts and terminology and coherent, accurate written expression (Be clear! Don’t sound like a numpty and waffle on about a text you don’t understand. Use the right vocab choices too) Analyse ways in which meanings are shaped in literary texts (Dig into a text but not just at isolated words out of context. How are the texts shaped structurally?) Demonstrate understanding of the significance and influence of the contexts in which literary texts are written and received. (There’s so much context around! What era/period is it from? Where does it fit in the bigger picture?) Explore connections between texts (How are texts similar and different? Also, I hold AO3’s hand; always try and frame the text with the network of texts around the same time!) Explore literary texts informed by different interpretations. (The icing on the cake…the salt on the chips…if all of the left hand information happens, then a lovely debate will form!)
