Young Carers in Schools GOLD Award Our School is the first in the Area to be awarded a GOLD Award for our work with Young Carers

To achieve our Gold Award the school has demonstrated that it supports young carers in many ways including homework clubs drop-in sessions and dedicated members of staff responsible for the Young Carers in our school

Mrs Karunaratna, Executive Head Teacher "I am pleased that the hard work of both my staff and Pastor Tills, our Young Carers Governor has been recognised with this prestigious national award. Young carers have a vital role within their families. We try to support the whole family, but especially the child, so that they can enjoy their childhood and achieve to the very best of their ability.“
