Trait: Different forms of a characteristic Examples: Characteristics Traits Hair color Brown, Blond, Black, Red, etc. Eye color Blue, Green, Brown, Black, Hazel, etc. Height Short, Tall, Medium Size Rose Petal Color Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, etc.

Inherited Trait: Traits you are born with- GENETIC!! Examples: Eye color, hair color, shape of face, skin tone, etc. Acquired Trait: Traits you develop on your own- NOT GENETIC!! Examples: Talents, hair length, muscle tone
