About Apache-Sitgreaves Research Center, Inc. AS Research is an independent research institution operating the Apache-Sitgreaves Observatory in northern Arizona, for ground-based space research and education. We conduct educational outreach programs that keep the focus relevant. As an educational resource for schools, our goal is to demonstrate to students; astronomy in the 21st century, and, develop the critical thinking skills needed to analyze the Universe.
