SEE, FEEL, TEACH, GIVE Mar 6:34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. (Full Text: Mark 6:31-44)  

SEE `Jesus saw a large crowd’ to `look’- to direct the eye towards an object, with the intention of seeing it. Joh 4:35 Don't you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

FEEL Compassion - means A suffering with another Painful sympathy `he had compassion on them Compassion - means A suffering with another Painful sympathy A sensation of sorrow excited by the distress or misfortunes of another  because they were like sheep without a shepherd’- had no teachers and guides who cared for them and took pains to instruct them.  

TEACH `So he began teaching them many things’. The right response - addressing the primay need of manl: spiritual need

GIVE `Mar 6:37 Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him ’. An inevitable consequence of missions - logistics

TWO THINGS TO OVERCOME: 1. Personal limitations - `Our hands are already full Mar 6:31-32 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. 2. Limited resources Mar 6:37-38 "You give them something to eat." They said to him, "That would take eight months of a man's wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?" "How many loaves do you have?" he asked. "Go and see." When they found out, they said, "Five—and two fish."

But let’s do it anyway as the lord tells us to! `give them something to eat’ Result: A creative miracle – God is ready to show the full force of His power! Mar 6:42 And they did all eat, and were filled. Mar 6:43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
