What was the main idea of this video? WHAT REALLY MATTERS What was the main idea of this video? What question(s) would you ask of someone in this video? Why would you ask that question? We are going to re-watch the video. As we watch, pick someone from the video and write a question to them

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP ALL ABOUT?

It isn’t really a question of whether you are leading or not; it’s just a question of whether it is good or bad, positive or negative leadership. This model of leadership is not about having a title, but it’s all about relationships.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE LEADERSHIP? Share your definition with 3 students NOT at your table group

“LEADERSHIP is influence, nothing more nothing less.” – John Maxwell Leadership = Influence

Leadership = Influence Could that influence be positive? Could that influence be negative? It is not a question, once again, of whether we are influencing or not, it is just a question of whether it is positive or negative. Everything we do is influencing others either positively or negatively. Even when we don’t do something we are influencing! Influence = Positive & Negative

We now know that…Leadership is all about relationships We now know that The… Definition of leadership is influence

LEADING WITH LOLLIPOPS What was the speaker’s main point? How would you feel if someone told you that you had impacted their life in a powerful way? What is the problem with thinking that only those with the title of ‘leader’ are the ones that are responsible for influencing others? What is one way that you could do something small today to create a lollipop moment for someone else?
