Estancia La Reconquista

Estancia La Reconquista is probably one of the premier Estancias in the province of Buenos Aires and was the summer retreat of a former Argentine president. Estancia La Reconquista is a 720 hectare (1,780 acres) productive paradise, just a few hours away from Buenos Aires. 670 Hectares ( 1.655 Acres) with title + 50 Hectares (124 Acres) of public roads inside property which will never be opened.

The main house dates from 1900 and was used as the summer home of former Argentine president Hipolito Irigoyen during his tenure. The house has been newly remodelled and is comprised of kitchen, dining room, living room, 10/12 bedrooms and maids quarters. Farm hand quarters with ten bedrooms, barn 40 m x 25 m, 10 horse boxes, tennis court & lit garden.

70/30 Cattle and Farming, 250 Ha. (618 Ac. ) sowed, 200 Ha. (494 Ac 70/30 Cattle and Farming, 250 Ha. (618 Ac.) sowed, 200 Ha. (494 Ac.) grassland for cattle. The farm currently supports between 550 to 600 head of cattle and is currently being managed with only one person, so fixed costs are low.

Location The ranch is situated just a few hours away from Buenos Aires. Location: Rd. 29, KM. 238,5 (in front of the town of Ayacucho). Access is 3km ( 1.9 miles) from highway on a dirt road in perfect condition. You can enter property year round, even during rainy season. The town of Ayacucho is located 6 km away from the ranch.
