Presentation transcript:

Tom F. Brouwer et al. JACEP 2016;2:605-614 Standard and Algorithm-Based Screening of 2 Patients in Group 1 Algorithm-based screening with the external subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (S-ICD) in 2 patients who were not suitable after standard screening with the dedicated tool both in standing and supine position (red-colored complexes in the upper part of the figure) (Group 1). Patient A in the left panel had adequate sensing in the optimal vector (Primary) during screening with the external S-ICD in rest and during exercise and was deemed suitable (middle part of the figure). This patient was implanted with an S-ICD (lower part of the figure). Patient B in the right panel was deemed not suitable after algorithm-based screening with the external S-ICD, due to T-wave oversensing in the best vector (Primary) both in rest and during exercise (middle part of the figure). This patient was implanted with a S-ICD. S-ECG = subcutaneous electrocardiogram. Tom F. Brouwer et al. JACEP 2016;2:605-614 American College of Cardiology Foundation
