Read paper on Raspberry Bluetooth Interface. Progress in Python Project 3: Development of Wireless Gas Detectors REU Student: Jose Vigil Graduate mentors: Chris Hughes, Xiaochen Wang Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Hyoung Jin Cho Week 2 (May 30 – June 3) Accomplishments: Read paper on Raspberry Bluetooth Interface. Progress in Python Reported my progress to Dr. Cho in group meeting Issues/problems encountered and solutions (if any): -Programming learning takes time.

Bluetooth Communication using a Touchscreen Interface with the Raspberry Pi (Goolge Scholar) Created a device that transmits data using the Raspberry Pi with Bluetooth and They have a device that has a touch screen display making it a user interface. Device was set to notify them about sent and received data. When there is no data connection stops and has to be reestablished. (Still going back to the paper to understand it better) Project: Wireless interface providing data to a device.

Next week Plan: Meet with graduate students and discuss the set up and the way to go about the multi meter.
