Tafsir of verse 1 In this verse our Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is known as ‘the wrapped up’ Whenever the Holy Prophet (pbuh) received a revelation he used to feel a shivering in his body and he felt necessary to cover himself with some cloth

It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praiseworthy station.

Relevant Ahadith Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “The archangel Gabriel continuously advises me about standing for prayer in the night such that I really thought the good people in my community will never sleep.” “The night prayer brightens one’s face, the night prayer fragrances one’s breath, and the night prayer attracts sustenance.”
