NIH Final RPPR MRAM December 8, 2016 Amanda Snyder Office of Sponsored Programs Associate Director

Transition to New Format Final Research Performance Progress Report (F-RPPR) replacing Final Progress Report (FPR) Reports submitted on or after 1/1/17 FPR not accepted after 12/31/16

What will it look like Completed on RPPR screens in the Commons (not as single pdf upload) These RPPR sections will NOT be part of F-RPPR Section D – Participants Section F – Changes Section H – Budget

Section I - Project Outcomes Unique to Final RPPR Made publicly available Concise summary of cumulative outcome/findings Similar to Project Summary/Abstract section of competing applications

Change in Process when Renewal Applications Under Review Submit "Interim-RPPR" while renewal application is under consideration Funded? Interim-RPPR becomes annual performance report for final year of previous competitive segment Not funded? Interim-RPPR becomes Final-RPPR

Routing and Submission PI completes RPPR in the Commons Route to Linda Nguyen, the Signing Official (SO) in OSP Email closeout@uw.edu to inform OSP that F-RPPR is ready to submit OSP submits to NIH in the Commons

Takeaways If PIs have any final progress reports due, they can use FPR format through end of December After 12/31/16 – F-RPPR is only option This is a new process for all of us. We will continue to evaluate and update procedures.
