End of Revolutionary War Notes Battle of Saratoga- Turning point in war. Won by colonists. Showed British lack of strategy and convinced France to enter war on colonists side

End of war notes Battle of Yorktown. Last major battle of war. General Cornwallis of British army was forced back to Yorktown Virginia on coast. Colonial and French army Surrounded Fort and French Blockaded anybody from leaving. British surrendered after three weeks
