Conservation of Mass

Matter cannot be created or destroyed. Law of Conservation Matter cannot be created or destroyed.

How does this apply to normal systems? In any type of reaction, you must end up with the same amount of matter you start off with. This applies even though the reactants and products are different.

What’s the problem with this equation? H2 + O2 -> H2O It breaks the Law of Conservation of Mass. Why?
