Recent developments on the IESS framework regulation Discussed 8 times by the DSS → In 2015: DSS (February/September); DSS Board (July) General support by ESSC on 19 November 2015 Internal Commission procedure (Impact Assessment; Inter-services consultation) → Minor changes implemented as a follow-up to bilateral meetings with NSIs and to ensure full consistency with the standardised variables exercise Adoption by Commission planned before summer 2016
IESS framework regulation: derogations Commission may grant temporary derogations to MSs when national statistical system necessitates major adaptations Discussion at DSS level after adoption of the Commission proposal ETS to be informed on list of derogations for 'labour market' and 'education and training' domains during autumn 2016
