FlashBack and Foreshadowing October 10, 2011

Do Now in Journal (6 minutes 37 sec) Do Ponyboy's brothers understand him? Use TEXT EVIDENCE to support your answer. What are some of the conflicts found early in the novel?

Today we will Answer a couple of check-in questions Mini lesson on flashback and foreshadowing and summarizing. Read to page 36 in our novel The Outsiders. Summarize the story told during Ponyboy’s flashback Discuss the foreshadowing on page 36.
