New and Experienced Tutors Team Up Mentoring New and Experienced Tutors Team Up

Break Into Groups Divide into groups of new and returning tutors Now each group. divide into three smaller groups based on shift Morning 8:30-12:30 Afternoon 12:30-3:30 Late Afternoon 3:30-6:30 Weekends and other schedules Each group should move to a separate area of the room and we will begin to pair you up.

Lets answer some questions Raise your hand if: You sleep in on weekends You get up early on weekends You have erratic sleep patterns on weekends You don’t sleep on weekends

Today’s Activities Make sure to sit with your mentor tutor throughout the day Ask questions Get to know each other You will be working closely together throughout the quarter

Expectations this Quarter You will observe your mentor for 8 tutoring sessions throughout the quarter You will turn in a report of those sessions to me at the end of the quarter
