It is an early morning program facilitated by our school library media specialist, Mr. Roger Silverblatt. The program is designed to bring together a diverse group of learners from across the school to encourage and enhance a greater appreciation of children’s literature. This enrichment activity is also being used increase your child’s knowledge and use of various instructional technologies that are available for his/her use here in the District.

As a result of participating in this program, students will obtain a greater working knowledge of… AWARD-WINNING CHILDREN’S LITERATURE BOOK REPORT AND RESEARCH PROJECT ASSISTANCE INTERNET SAFETY AND NAVIGATION

Therefore, if you are interested in getting involved, you may either… Have your parent/guardian email Mr. Silverblatt at rsilverblatt@hempsteadschools.org giving their permission for you to participate in the program. They should be sure to an include an emergency contact phone number. Walk, don’t run, over to the library and pick up a permission slip to be signed by your parent/guardian and returned to Mr.Silverblatt
