Sign-Up! If you are a Survivor registering on a Team or as an Individual, do not click the Survivor Registration button. That button is only for Participants who only want to participate in the Survivorship activities at Relay … and who are not on a Team.

Registration: Step #1 Start or Join a Team For veteran online events, say “Notice the great improvements over last year’s online tool:” For new online events, say “And, look at how helpful this tool is”

Registration: Step #1 Start a Team- Team Captains Only National Corporate Team Program (NCTP) & Local companies should select a “Team Company” to be affiliated to. For National Corporate Team Program and local companies already set-up in the Event Management Center, Participants may choose to affiliate themselves with those companies to ensure the overall company leader knows that they are participating. This is especially important for those NCTP companies who have dedicated to have Relay teams in 2 or more states and field 50 or more teams nationwide … amongst other things. Status bar from 1 – 6 on the top so Participants know how many more screens they need to complete before finishing their Registration Visible “Help Me” links on upper right and in the middle: “Help me- join a team” or “Help me- Register”

Registration: Step #2 Choose the appropriate Registration type and fee. Survivors that are on teams should register as Team Captains or Members. Choose the appropriate Participation Type You may also choose to donate an additional gift which will go to your Participant page.

Registration: Step #3 Fill in all your information!

Registration: Step #4 Read, then click “I agree” button on bottom of Waiver

Registration: Step #5 Final step- Step 5 is the Billing Information that acknowledges your desire to register. Final step- Click the “Complete Registration” button

Set-Up! New this year: Fundraise with FACEBOOK! Another cool feature this year is the Team Captains ability to write messages to their Team Participants.

Set-Up! Edit your Personal Page. Share your reason to Relay. After you register, click on the Participant Center link and you’re on your way to resources galore! Let’s first start by setting up your site. Some things that you’ll be able to do are: Edit your page with your own story and pictures Create your own personal page with your own shortcut URL Monitor your fundraising progress Upload your own picture! Send! Add your email addresses! Now that you’ve personalized your page, you’re ready to invite donors to contribute. Let’s SEND SEND SEND! There are 3 ways to add email addresses. The easiest is ‘Online Import’ which allows you to import your address books from popular email providers such as Yahoo and Gmail. Add your email addresses!

Send! Choose a template or create your own Relay Online will allow you to: Manage your email messages to friends and family Thank your donors using suggested messages or customize your own messages Identify and follow up with contacts who have not donated As a Team Captain, you can even send emails easily to all your Team Participants!

Follow up and track your progress! Monitor your individual progress and your team’s progress In the Follow-Ups section you can see who you have sent emails to and who has donated to you. Track your progress and your teams progress as well. Team Captains can also pull fabulous reports on their Team’s progress! All these reports are printable and downloable by the click of a button.
