MTSU S-STEM Scholarship Program in Computer Science

What’s the S-STEM Scholarship ? Supported by National Science Foundation; Provides scholarship to undergraduate students majoring in computer science at MTSU Each scholarship recipient will receive up to $6000 per year for the first 2 years, and up to $3000 for the 3rd year.

What benefits can I get? Receive financial aid from the program; Can participate in summer project development to gain hands-on experience; Receive academic and social support from assigned faculty and peer mentors; Receive extra support from the program to land professional internships; Receive support to attend national conferences; And more …

Who can apply? To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must Be a US citizen or national; Be a full time student or have applied to MTSU; Be Pell eligible; Be a computer science major at MTSU with no more than 32 CS credit hours; Have a GPA of 2.50 or higher on CS courses taken at MTSU or have a math ACT subscore ≥ 22 if no CS courses have been taken at MTSU
