Fmp concept By Dan Siddall

Genre and target audience The genre of my magazine is health with a sub genre of Cancer. The target audience of my magazine is anyone who has suffered or is suffering with an illness such as cancer.

Feature articles My first feature article will be about my uncle, Dave Fletcher, Five time cancer survivor. Marathon runner, charities, sponsors… In a interview we will talk about his journey, his motivation, his achievements etc. I will use some of his chosen images of his achievements on my article. My other feature will be on a doctor in the health industry, we will talk about general health and how to spot an illness.

Audio/ visual My interviews will be recorded using a camera and 2 zoom mics. I may take images of Dave's upcoming events, he will be participating in a iron man.

Why did I choose this? The topic is close to home an it means something to me, therefore this is a good topic.

News values Proximity, close to home topic Personality, an inspiration to some? Recency, current events Human interest, may emotionally affect others/ something they can relate too.
