Warm-up, 4/20 Do not copy the questions, but write your answers in complete sentences. 1. How did Tom and Felicia trick Matt? 2. What was “thing on the bed” and why did it upset Matt? 3. Why do you think Tom and Felicia tricked Matt?

Possible answers… Felicia tricked Matt by encouraging him to make-up with Maria and sending him to the hospital where she knew Tom would be there to scare Matt and Maria with the brain damaged clone. Tom told Maria that Matt wanted to meet her at the hospital, even though it was not Matt’s idea to meet at the hospital. The “thing on the bed” was a brain damaged clone that was in pain and a horrible thing to see. It upset Matt because Matt had never seen another clone before and he thinks he could turn into a clone like that. Matt thinks Maria is going to think even worse of him now. Felicia and Tome tricked Matt because they do not like him because he is a clone, and they do not like that Maria is friends with him.
