Click in the Tune icon

Give the loop a step size enough to move the valve! Then start the test

Under Options, make sure the Expert is checked

The test is running, note the output change

Now the test is done and the recommended setting are shown You can change the process type as well as the desired response Click Update to set the controller settings to those the tuner calculated

Tuner will show process dynamics

Click Simulate to view response As well as gain and phase margin

Use On Demand Tuning to see gain and phase margin plus response You can move the recommended point to view other settings
