Clayton’s Recommendations Further evaluate salaries at the System Title level. Assess factors not included in statistical analysis that may affect salary (e.g. previous experience, or certifications). Determine situations where: adjustment is warranted; or salary differential is justified.

Final Phase Analysis of 1,044 staff (focusing on salaries and years of UVM service) conducted separately for each job title resulted in 293 that warranted further investigation Analysis of additional compensable factors reduced number from 293 to 24 Consultation with Pay Equity Representatives in individual units to obtain additional information, resulted in 2 cases where adjustment was warranted
