AS Level UMS BOUNDARIES Grade 200 UMS 300 UMS A 160 240 B 140 210 C 120 180 D 100 150 E 80 U 79 119 Most AS levels are marked out of either 300 (Science & Maths) or 200 UMS. You must check your UMS carefully before you decide on a remark. If you have 143 UMS in Business Studies then you are too close the B boundary to consider a remark or clerical check. You need to be closer to the higher grade boundary to consider a remark in one of your units.
