As long as your topic relates to the subject, you will have the freedom to choose your own topics in this class. But make sure you can find enough information to support your topic.

Organizing Information Organization of information is important. One of the most common ways to organize information is an outline. Think of an outline as the “skeleton” of your project.

Writing Once your “skeleton” is complete, you are ready to add the meat. Consider your audience. Use appropriate language. Make logical, realistic, and complete claims. Give equal voices to both sides of the argument. Mix expert opinions, facts, and your educated opinions to make a plausible conclusion

Writing Essays: Write your essay Put it away for at least 24 hours Read it again, making corrections and polishing the language. Make sure your points are clear, polished, and logical.

Advice Begin your project ahead of time. Never wait until the last few days. Choose realistic topics, claims, and conclusions. Keep your teacher in the loop.
