The Giver By: Lois Lowry

Book Synopsis A boy by the name of jonas lives in a seemingly peaceful town. When he meets the giver (an old man who is the sole keeper of the towns memories) jonas discovers the vast diversity of the world and the dangerous truth if his community's past. At this point jonas realizes that he must escape from the town. A challenge no one has ever completed sucsessfuly

About The Author Lois Lowry is a female American book writer who was born on march 20, 1937. She is credited with more that thirty children books two Newbery medals for Number in the stars in 1990 and the Giver in 1994.

Would I Recommend It I would highly recommend this book to somebody who wants to read a very interesting and thrilling book that is written by a great author.
