Using to speed up the work process!

When you open up Microsoft Word it looks like this.

It can be a little confusing! There are toolbars…… …and there are icons. It can be a little confusing!

These are called ‘shortcuts’. But Microsoft Word can be quite easy to use once you get started and there are ways you can make it even easier! These are called ‘shortcuts’.

Most shortcuts use the key on your keyboard known as the Control Key. There are lots of different keyboards, but on most standard keyboards it is in the same place.

So let’s start using some shortcuts To start using shortcuts you first need to know how to highlight the text you would like to change. There is even an easy way to do this!

Instead of using your mouse to drag along the text. You can use your left mouse button to do all the work! You can use your left mouse button to do all the work! mouse Click twice over the text you want to change to highlight one word. Click three times to highlight a whole section. It’s easy!

Once your text is highlighted you can start making changes. By pressing Ctrl and b together you can make your text look bold.

Let’s try one more! This one uses 3 keys By pressing Ctrl, shift and a together your text will ALL BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS!
