What the Act does Principles for integrated health and social care Nationally agreed outcomes for health and wellbeing Integrated governance arrangements for health and social care: delegation to a body corporate or lead agency Integrated budgets for health and social care Strategic planning Locality planning

Delegation Of Health and Social Care Services There is a statutory suite of health and social services that must be delegated to integration authorities as they relate to Adults . Additional functions may be delegated as they relate to Adults and/or Children. These additional functions are intend to allow integration authorities to work in the manner that best suits their local priorities and structures

Children Services under Integration The is a difference between a children's services and services being for children. All integration authorities have included universal health services for those under 18. Integration authorities are required to take cognisance of the broader strategic children’s services plan All partnership have delegated follow universal health services for under 18s: • Primary Medical Services and General Medical Services (including GP Pharmaceutical services) • General Dental Services, • Public Dental Services • General Ophthalmic Services • General Pharmaceutical Services • Out of Hours Primary Medical Services

Overview of the scope of delegation 18 of the 31 integration authorities intend to include “children’s health services” 10 of the 31 integration authorities intend to include social work and social care services for children(third of partnerships will add these in the first 2 years ) Health and social service delegation for adults is not uniform.
