Bullying vs. Picking BULLYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND COULD RESULT IN DISIPLINARY ACTION What is the difference between bullying and picking? Picking is a way of communicating and sometimes can be friendly, neutral, or negative. Done in the right spirit it can be positive. Bullying is meant to hurt and is persistent. This includes any physical, verbal, written, or other interactions that are unwanted or that make someone else uncomfortable (name calling, gossip, disrespect)

Tell Someone!!! If you or someone you know is: being bullied bullying going through a traumatic time depressed in possession of something that could be dangerous to themselves or others threatening others in person or electronically LET AN ADULT KNOW!!! It is our responsibility to watch out for one another and to speak up when appropriate.

Co-Safe This is a timeout of the classroom for a student for continued misbehavior. Student will be removed from the classroom and will go to their teachers designated Co-Safe room. Students will finish assignment and Co-Safe slip before returning to the classroom. If behavior continues, Administrator will be called and the student will be removed. After the 2nd Co-Safe student will receive an office referral If student receives Co-Safe during the nine weeks that student will have a loss of any team and school wide incentives.

Do right before you go to lunch

Breakfast Procedures Respect the breakfast/lunch room monitors at all times. Any disrespect could result in an office referral. Once finished, you should report to your designated area. There should be no walking siblings to class or roaming the halls, you should report to your classroom

Going to the Cafeteria Practice!! Students will use hallway transitions procedures emphasizing level 0 voice levels. Student will walk in the hallway on the “2nd tile single file.” Teachers will escort students to their assigned serving line. Use the bathroom before you go to lunch, there will be no getting up unless its an emergency. Practice!!

Lunch Procedures NO!! Please travel to the cafeteria at a LEVEL 0 When students are released to go through the line they will walk in a single file line using voice level 1 and show appropriate behavior in the lunch line including keeping hands to self and staying with their classes. Students need to remember to get everything they need for lunch the first time through the line such as utensils, napkins, and condiments. Students are not allowed to return to the line for any reason once they have been through. Students will go to their assigned tables and eat their lunch with a conversation level of 2. Students are not allowed to get up for any reason until they are dismissed by an adult to take their trays to the tray disposal area and line up under the direction of their teachers at voice level 0 to prepare to enter the hallways.
