Expunging Grades Families have the option to expunge a grade from their student’s record if it was a high school credit bearing course (i.e. Algebra or higher and World Languages) We highly recommend expunging grades that are below a B- Families have 30 days after the posting of EOY grades to expunge – please inquire about this process with your middle school counselor
The four year plan… Support your children in taking the courses needed in order to be competitive for college. Hard work is inevitable in life. Support your kids now in their struggles to foster resiliency through challenge Realistic assessment of capabilities – are they truly struggling? Are the expectations clear at home? Are the tools provided for success? Are they working hard? – seek feedback from teachers on a regular basis
