Presentation transcript:

Warm-Up – KWL Based on your research and everything you have learned, list the FIVE most interesting/important things you have learned and want people to know about your country and culture. Put this on the “L” column of your KWL.

One-Pager VISUAL A one-pager is a way to communicate your understanding of reading or other material in a unique way. A one-pager allows you to be creative and experimental, instead of writing an essay. One-pagers use a combination of visuals and text to give a complete portrayal of the topic you are reporting.

Your One-Pager Requirements: The name of your country The term for people from that country Images (at least 5 – these should be a focal point!) 5 Key Facts/Important Pieces of Information (choose 5 that offer a full picture of your culture for someone who will only see the one-pager) Summary (on the back) – write a one-paragraph summary of what you learned from this project. FILL THE PAPER UP!! IT SHOULD BE RICH WITH PICTURES AND TEXT. HALF A PAGE IS INSUFFICIENT! Once you have the required elements, how you fill your page is up to you. 

Closing Do you feel prepared for your presentation? Why or why not? Have you thought about and/or practiced what you will say? Is there anything you need from me to be totally ready?
