Dear Colleague: Welcome to the 15th annual National Radiological Emergency Preparedness (NREP) Conference. The purpose of the NREP Conference is to provide a forum for individuals and agencies involved in radiological emergency preparedness and response. The target audience is personnel from emergency management agencies, radiological health programs, and electric utilities who are engaged in the offsite emergency preparedness with respect to nuclear power, radioactive waste transportation and other radiological areas. This year again, the program sub-committee has exercised an extraordinary effort in order to cover a wide range of topics. Your participation is greatly appreciated. I am certain that we will have a very useful and successful conference again this year. Thank you, once again, for joining us in fulfilling our professional obligation to maintain the effectiveness of the radiological emergency preparedness program. Sincerely, Michael Cash, Chair Steering Committee 2004-2005 April 11, 2005
