Session 9 Back Home Application

Session Objective Develop a plan to apply what was learned in the workshop and move forward your team’s proposed PHE project design/approach.

Project Team TASK: Organize & Review Project Design Assemble all the components (worksheets) from your design exercises (conceptual model, goals and objectives, results chains, interventions, indicators, Implementation map/strategy and monitoring plan. Review the products and note any key questions or concerns. List your concerns/questions on flipchart. Time: 25 minutes

Team TASK: Back Home Plan Review your PHE projects/approaches. Agree on main actions/activities for next 3-6 months. Address these areas: Information/data gaps Stakeholders Technical expertise needed Research needed on site requirements and selection Initial research and planning meetings to address the service gaps identified in Session 7 Internal and external communication to elicit support and build momentum for proposed project integration Networking opportunities with workshop colleagues

Team TASK: Back Home Plan Develop a practical and realistic action plan that includes the following: actions/tasks to be taken identification of persons responsible resource requirements Timing Use the planning format provided Time: 50 minutes
