Artificial Selection

The farm is the original genetics laboratory. For thousands of years, farmers have been taking advantage of evolution and selectively breeding animals and plants. In the old days they called animal breeding 'animal husbandry.' In Biology we call it 'Artificial Selection.' Evey single farm animal and plant has been genetically modified by artificial selection.
